We will start your horse off from scratch or re-train an older horse. This can be done here at our place or if you have suitable facilities, I can travel to you. Please phone for details.

We start your horses on the lunge line, will introduce your horse to the saddle and bridle, and get them going under saddle.

If you want to board your horse at Charleston Lake Riding School for training, we will work your horse a maximum of 6 days per week (Tuesday to Sunday). Turn out if possible in outdoor/indoor arena or small turnout paddock. Charges are as follows:

$10 per day board--includes hay, water, muck out, and turn out. Hard feed will be billed to you.
$20 per training session. You can pick how many sessions you would require in a week. I recommend at least 4 times per week.
G.S.T. must be added to the above rates.

We require a certificate showing vaccination for the following: Flu, Tetnus, East & West, and Rabies. We will worm the first day in (bring wormer with you). The horse's feet must be in good condition for us to be able to train ie. trimmed.
